Thyroid Profile (T3T4T7)

Thyroid Profile (T3T4T7 test) measuremes three parts of triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4) in the blood. The T7 is a calculated index.

The thyroid hormones; thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) are made by the thyroid gland. It uses iodine from food to manufacture these hormones which are stored by your body. Ultimately T3+T4 are used to control metabolism in your body.

If you’re unusually tired, having big weight gain or loss, irritable, or anxious these might be signs of inadequate levels of the thyroid hormone.

The T3T4T7 blood test can indicate if you are experiencing problems producing proper levels.
